Is the bad boy really good?! Is it all a front?! Everything he says to Gem… Is it all lies?! What oh what will become of these two.. gotta keep reading!!!

           This book toooooookkkk me way to long to finish.. very slow and there wasn’t really much going on very dragged out story… this is the first book read from this author and not sure if I will read the next book in this series.

Book 1 of 2 is 🤯 Every time I picked it up I was sucked back into the world of St. Mary’s, literally chefs kiss 🤌🏻💋 the dynamic between Isaiah and Gemma is 🥵 

Since it’s book 1 of 2, you know there’s a cliff hanger in there. I AM UNWELL FRIENDS. UNWELL. I need more asap!!! Thank the lord she’s not making us wait long!! December hurry up!!! 🤩🥳

I've read books by SJ Sylvis before and I have to say I think Good Girls Never Rise is her best book yet. Dark romance isn't something I normally read, but I may have to start after this book. This book takes place at St. Mary's. Believe me when I say this is a boarding school filled with lots of secrets. I never knew what to expect next. Good Girls Don't Rise is a big book and it definitely left me wanting more.

Gemma has a past you wouldn't wish upon anyone and definitely doesn't know who to trust because of that. Isiah seems to be the typical bad boy, but there's so much more to him than meets the eye. Let me tell you them together is explosive. It's hard to put into words how much I loved this couple. 

That cliffhanger left me hanging and I can't wait to see how Isiah and Gemma's story plays out! This is a darker book, so please be aware of that before picking it up!
