While Sin Too remains my favorite, this was perhaps the hottest book of the series, which is saying something. The reason? John Freaking Clark. One would think that being an FBI agent would make him the “calmer” of the male trio of this series, but John’s the type of man who says: "Don't worry, Darling. I'm alpha enough for the both of us."

My fan is overheating!

I also absolutely loved Nora and I saw a lot of myself in her, which made the reading experience that much more enjoyable *insert smirk emoji here*. Was I expecting something else from this book? Yes, considering the epilogue of Sin Too, but I’m not disappointed at all! Nora and John’s chemistry was off the charts, and Dell was the perfect antagonist. Although I do believe Nora should have made John grovel a little more after everything that goes down. Maybe I think this because of how easily I could see myself in her. It wasn’t hard to imagine myself in her situation and feel her emotional distress as if it were my own, so to say I was angry with Special Agent John Clark is an understatement. That being said, I loved these two so much, especially in their domestic moments!

A special mention goes to the scene with all the boys from the series. Goodness, it was precious to see Vincent, Angelo and John together.

Thank you to the author for gifting me a copy. Opinions are my own.

I'm so sick of watching the world spin by. Of letting people think I'm plain and boring, too afraid to just be myself. Then I see him. John. He's strength and fury and unapologetic. He's everything I want. And everything I wish I was. He won't want me, but that doesn't matter. The sight of him is all the inspiration I need to finally shatter this glass house I've built around myself. Only he does want me. And when our worlds collide, details we can't see become entwined, twisting together, trapping us in an invisible trap. But when it all goes wrong, I don't know if I'll be able to break free of the chains binding us, or if I'll suffocate in the process.
