Quickie Review (May contain spoilers, fair warning upon reading this review.)

Mr Sin was a delightful story and I did have a fun time with this one. The premise between them was interesting. I didn't really understand the angst that developed between these two though. It just didn't make sense to me. It kinda felt like the drama was used as a filler for the story. The spice was top notch and I enjoyed the relationship between the hero and his daughter. There is something precious about a single father of a little girl. Some of the writing in this one could have been better though. I just wasn't a fan of how preachy the author gets in this one for certain feminist politics. Just rubbed me the wrong way in how it was written and did ruin my enjoyment of the story at times. But if you don't mind books getting preachy at times, then I do recommend it to you, just wasn't my taste. Will check out her older books as those most likely aren't as political but also didn't have the touch of Nero or Dom in it either. But still a solid read that I easily got swept into.

not much to say except that i absolutely enjoyed this book

This gets all of the stars! Tilly has become one of my fav romcom authors. Her writing is absolutely wonderful. I love that it’s just so easy to love the characters and there’s always at least one character trait that becomes relatable. Mr.Sin was filled with romance, action, banter, and everything a sexy romcom must have. I loved Sasha and Vincent, omg! Can’t wait to read book 2.

S.J. Tilly is confirming herself as one of my favorite romance authors. This book was hot, intense, and exciting, but it also had some moments of vulnerability especially for Vincent. Vincent, who is a bit of an alphahole, protective and stubborn but not stifling, and he’s also a father! His relationship with Annie, his daughter, made me appreciate Vincent even more because she’s where his heart is. 

Having read and adored Tilly’s Sleet series, I knew I was going to fall for the couple, though it didn’t happen from the very beginning like I had expected. What happened in Vegas was hot, but brief. I didn’t feel the Tilly spark until Sasha and Vincent meet again after the events of Vegas. The key was their interactions, which is where the author is strong. The characters feed off each other. They banter and build sizzling chemistry. It’s so subtle that I don’t think I would have noticed had I not read the author’s other series and known the magic she’s able to create with a similar one-night stand scenario. (Zach and Izzy in 
  Sleet Sugar
. My babieeeees!)

I highly recommend this to romance lovers, especially if you like billionaire/mafia romances (the Mazzanti are a former mobster family), with a love interest who is protective and domineering without being toxic, and a romance that leans a little on the darker side without going too dark.
