ESPAÑOL<br />No me gustó, la forma en que inicia es buena pero de ahí en adelante no siento que funcione para mi. Es una combinación de insta-love y mafia, algunas escenas hot pero no siento que sea memorable o valga el hype.<br />ENGLISH <br />So I don't like the way that the book started was good but the rest doesn't work for me. Was a combination of insta-love and mafia some hot scenes but doesn't feel remarkable or worth the hype.

Terrible. I’ve read worse, but this was pretty painful.

this was so terrible but i was entertained because of how bad it was. i honestly just needed something to drown the voices out and this worked. it was so bad. i could not believe what i was reading. very entertaining though…. might read the whole series. might never think about it ever again. a real toss-up.

Running away from home at 17 wasn’t easy. Let’s face it though, nothing before, or in the ten years since, has ever been easy for me.

Damn, these dark mafia romance books got me hooked for no reason. Nero may be a red flag, stalker, psychopath. But in this world, we’re all colour blind because he’s as soft as a teddy bear when he’s in love. It’s giving “who did this to you?!” and “touch her and you die” in a different font.

This novel is probably good if you want a quick read. There is not much depth into the characters and plot 🤷‍♀️

Quickie Review-May Contain Spoilers, Fair Warning Upon Reading the Review

Nero is the first book in the "Alliance series" and I really had a blast with this one here. In fact, this was the type of mafia I wish that we saw much more often in the genre because these types of pairings really work for me. So Nero was such a delicious read. If you are fans of "Knight by Kristen Ashley" then I really think you will enjoy this one. It just had similar type of dynamics for the couple. And I soaked it up like a sponge. Also, this writing I could easily into so be prepared for a page-turner of a read. The sexual tension was pretty solid in this, but the execution of the sex scenes in this book were a little off. They just didn't quite fit to be honestly. Like we are talking pretty intense stuff and the heroine a virgin is completely on board and it just felt like the evolvement into those scenes could have been built up instead of suddenly there in bold flying colors (haha). However, I really couldn't get enough of this book and stayed up pretty late in the reading of this one and it definitely was worth it. So if you are looking for a book to just instantly get swept away by, then I recommend this one here.

honestly, the begining of their story have so much potential. there's no further explanation of why he ended up in her apartment, like why would he chose that one particular apartment? nothing special, but it's enjoyable still. i'm not cringing and it means something. but sj tilly have no business writing a romance book for like more than 30 CHAPTERS.. it was so hard to imagine and look, but surprisingly chapters passed easily.
