Hunting Monsters is a fairy tale inspired story that looks at the darker aspects of Beauty and the Beast, but takes the narrative in a very new and innovative direction. Two of the main characters are racialised, and two are in a same-sex relationship. The story focuses on ideas of compassion, forgiveness, and sacrifice for those you love. It's a very enjoyable, well-written tale from The Book Smugglers who have succeeded in their goal of offering up something different for readers! (And there's a sequel!)
