*I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review* Kayla Green lives only for her job. She has no friends, no relationships, no hobbies and she's completely satisfied that way. Except at Christmas, when seeking refuge in her work gets more complicated and escaping all things Christmas is just impossible... So, when the firm's new client, Jackson O'Neil, suggests that Kayla spends a few days at Snow Cristal, in Vermont, his family's resort for which he wants Kayla to develop a marketing plan, she volunteers to go straight away. Spending Christmas on a secluded hut, away from everything and everyone, seems like the perfect plan to Kayla! But the best laid plans don't always go as expected and, during her first meeting with Jackson's family, Kayla discovers her corporate eficiency won't work at Snow Crystal and she agrees to let Jackson show her what makes Snow Crystal unique and special. And, as time goes by and Kayla enjoys the different experiences that Snow Crystal offers its guests, she begins to get loose. Of course the fact that Jackson is the one providing her those unique experiences doesn't hurt, since the attraction between them is imense and electrifying. But it's also scary because it makes Kayla lower her guard and she knows how dangerous it is to let her guard down and allow herself to have feelings for someone... I really liked this story, the characters and the Snow Crystal setting. The whole O'Neil family is so sweet and funny, especially the mother and grandparents! I also really liked the romance between Kayla and Jackson, because it wasn't immediate and because the author did a really good job showing Kayla's insecurities. And Jackson is amazing, because he understands and respects Kayla's feelings but, at the same time, he won't give up showing her that things can be different. I can't wait to read the second book in the series, more so because the little glimpse the author gives us about its protagonist couple makes me foresee a very funny story with some very hot moments!

Loveeeed!!!!!!! Couldn’t put it down!!!! After reading the Manhattan series & the mention of snow covered Vermont I had to read this series... can I visit right now please?? Love the characters, the family is so sweet. Perfect read, even better Christmas read!!!
