Reviews

I've been on quite the Sloane Kennedy reading binge for the past couple of weeks. I decided not to write a review for a lot of them, simply because I read them in such quick succession that the intricacies of what I like and don't like about each story sort of blurred together by the time I got to update my Goodreads. But this one I'll go on record for my future self as saying was very engaging. It gripped me in the ways I want to be gripped from these types of stories. It's hot, yes - but the angst here was good and gritty. The zaps of unexpected lust electricity didn't bother me too much, and the very quick slide into love and forever wasn't too jarring in the context of the story... so the tropes, while present, weren't off putting. Still enjoying the series, and seeing the PNW (and Dare, Montana) slowly turn entirely gay two or three men at a time.
