I really struggled with this one because, theoretically, this is exactly the kind of YA trash I live for. But none of the characters were likeable, we seemed to just kind of glaze over the insane amounts of statutory rape, the homophobia was overbearing, and there’s literally no scenario I can think of where someone can just casually say they’ll be “forced to rape” someone if they don’t leave them alone. Plus I could’ve really done without the whole Ned aspect of the story, that kinda just seemed to come out of nowhere and do nothing for the story.
