I was going into this expecting a light, flufffy summer read. Boy, was I wrong..
This has so much more depth to it, than I expected. On the surface is it a story about a famous guy, and I almost nerdy girl, who meet and fall in love. But there is just so much more to it than that. Both of them have a past, which still haunts them. I was quite surprised by how much I enjoyed this book- Although I found the ending abit unbelievable, I still really enjoyed this book. I am contemplting to get the second one, which is aparently a suspence kind of thing, just because I really liked the characters so much.

Not bad although there were several instances where the writing was awkward to the point of being jarring. I didn't care for the Matthew character. First off, who answers their phone with "howdy" all the time? (And yes, he's from Texas but he's not from the 1800's for goodness sake.) He starts off as a good guy but then turns into a jerk (view spoiler)[after he and Chloe kiss. He admits he has had a crush on her for years but presumably his purity pledge was not compatible with this kiss. However, not too long after that, he has a girlfriend so... ?? And he basically ghosts Chloe. (hide spoiler)] Nice behavior from a "best friend". I also didn't really get why Jason fell for Chloe other than she's pretty and didn't fawn over him.

Overall it was a decent read with some rough patches along the way.
