Alright, I know I've said this before but it bears repetition. Sherrilyn Kenyon is amazing! Son of No One is excellent. It felt a little short, especially since her last few books could be used as tables in their own right. However, this story seemed to be prologue to what's about to happen in the wonderous world she has built. The next two deal with the rise of the dragons, so the set up is welcomed. I love the way she has mixed so many mythologies into her Dark Hunters world, and has done it effortlessly. Cadegan and Jo were excellent as the hero and heroine of the story, and who doesn't love cameos by some of her other beloved characters who have now formed this motley, mixed, dysfunctional, but loyal family? But the biggest bombshells were all about Thorn. These last several books have been building toward something huge and show no sign of slowing down until whatever it is leaves us blown apart and spent. I cannot wait to see how, if at all, this story effects CON in March before picking up in the next DH book with the dragons awakening. No matter what folks, we had best strap ourselves in, bumpy doesn't begin to describe the ride we are in for, I'm afraid.
