After a rocky start, Hope Larsen seems to find her stride as a Batgirl writer! This is the modern Batgirl I want to see. I found her initial Rebirth persona a bit too hipster, but this version manages to hit on the contemporary young 20-something without making me want to puke. The theme of the issue is all about the power, both good and bad, of tech. It's a bit heavy handed and on the nose, but this is a superhero comic, what do you expect? I think it hits a sweet spot for the target audience of being about real life stuff, but also with a Batgirl who manages to capture her traditional personality with a contemporary feel.
