One thing I will say about Sonora Reyes, is that they know how to make a book so easy and fun to read. I flew through this book and I know I can always count on SR for immaculate diversity and representation.

I had such high expectations after absolutely loving Lesbiana’s Guide to Catholic School and unfortunately it didn’t hit as hard as I wanted to. I wanted to see more of Ari and Shawni together and was so disappointed that we didn’t see more of the ramifications that Luis faced.

Overall really good but I think it could’ve benefited from being about 50 pages longer.

i am rooting for these characters so loudly! i love them and i want the best for them and i am so ready for them to just have all the good things in the world. this felt like such a necessary story and i loved the messages and the representation and i can't believe i put this off for as long as i did. i should have read this on release day because it was just so good.
