super cute book! i haven’t read anything in over a month, so this was a nice, easy book to get back into it.

I did like this book. I look forward to reading more by the author. I did not like that the romance happened in mere days. If not for the epilogue, I would not have thought they would have lasted. I was not totally for them as a couple. Maybe it is because the time period is so short. I just didn't feel the connection. 

At one point in the book, the MC was very rude to a person. She does this because she was saying something about women having to do something that men don't. I did not like her reaction. I thought it was over the top and uncalled for. So what if someone comments about you not smiling. Just don't smile and move on. You do not have to do what a random stranger tells you to do, but you also don't have to be rude. I doubt their goal was to keep you down. Anyway, she did apologize and I thought that was nice. 

That being said, I do wish she was more sure of herself. Later on in the book she meets an important character and basically does a doggy belly up to her. She has proven that she can be assertive when needed so not sure why she backed down then. 

Overall, it was cute and I did learn a lot about Jersey! Took me a few to realize she was not referring to New Jersey.

giving up on the book, i picked it so many times and put it right back down, and love triangle succckkkkk, putting it in the little library in front of B&N

super cute book but not my favorite. for me it was pretty slow paced but the ending helped redeem it.

Sophie Cousens is an author that makes me want to read her works over and over to feel the comfort that her writing brings. I thought this novel was sweet and heartwarming and I loved the Easter egg for This Time Next Year.

Im finally back after a few weeks of a reading slump. And let me tell you this book took me right out of it! This one was a quick read and it was so cute and fun! We have Laura who like all of us has a high expectation for love. It’s all about the meet-cute and the common details but then she meets Ted. At first I was a little weary of Ted but just like Laura I ended up loving him. He’s a complex character with a past love, life and wisdom. He’s exactly what Laura needs on her trip. This book seems like it was written for me, a hopeless romantic worrying if I’ll ever know what if feels like to have that kind of life-altering connection with someone. But Ted gives me hope that maybe one day I’ll also find Kablammo

I really tried liking this book but I could not get over the messy characters. Let me explain. In the beginning of the book, I truly enjoyed the pace of the book. But the more I read, the more I got annoyed with the characters. They acted way too much for my taste of drama in romance books. Like peeps, just chill for a bit.
