This is my First Sophie Jo Book and what a book that it was, I will always be grateful to the friend for sharing her review on this one and then hosting a giveaway and I was lucky to win a copy of the book! It’s been on my shelf for a while, but I knew that August was the best month to pick this up and dive into it!

Told from both perspectives, we follow Poppy and Cam, two teens struggling with commitment issues. Poppy enters ever date armed with a list documenting everything her Dream Man should have and refuses to settle for less, whilst Cam struggles to let anyone get too close and drops them the moment, he finds a reason to. So, their best friends each challenge them to do something different on their next date. Poppy can’t be the one to break up with her next date, and Cam can’t call things off first either

Both Main Characters felt real, relatable and authentic and quickly you will be giggling along as you start to turn the puzzle around you realise that they both might just have things in common and start to form an attraction that might just flourish.

Red Flags explores romantic relationships, the family bonds and friendships in this book were detailed so well and really showed the wide breadth of relationships that exist, and the importance of each and every one. I absolutely adored the friendships, and the side characters felt just as fleshed out and important as Poppy and Cam.
