**WARNING** the spoiler's in this review are spoilers for a reason. I know that in some reviews, ppl put spoilers on there that you can open and not have anything be given away, but this IS NOT LIKE THAT. You have been warned. If you open the spoilers and the joy of the book is stolen from you, it's not my fault. Point 1: In this book, we learn both of Jace's parents's first names. Magnus and Zara. Call me crazy, but Magnus sounds like a warlock (and not just cuz of TMI) and Zara sounds like something out of The Lion King Point 2: Deghan!!!!! Omg, I just knew what was going to happen (view spoiler)[between him and Tamra (hide spoiler)] Point 3: So, in this book, we've finally gotten to the point where Will and JAce can run away and be together and be alone. But guess what? it doesn't happen that way. Point 4: I figured out the tracking devices things as soon as Lia said "They're going to put a small, shiny metal thing in your head." I fugured it out AS SOON AS IT WAS MENTIONED. My God, it took everyone else so long to figure that out! Was it obvious the moment it was mentioned to anyone else? Point 5: towards the beginning-end, keep in mind that there's still far too much of the book for what happened to be true. (view spoiler)[and, for future reference, tranquilizing a draki who is part of a bonded pair makes the other draki think he's dead. In other words, don't do that. (hide spoiler)] Point 6: I know the ending was happy, but it left me feeling kind of there was something missing inside. I'm not sure, but I think the combination of (view spoiler)[Miram's death and Cassian's departure (hide spoiler)] left some frayed ends, for me.

** spoiler alert ** Am I the only one who really wanted her to be with Cassian? I mean I get it her and Will were "meant to be" or whatever but Personally I thought Cassian was a way better person!

I really loved the plot twists

I found this a great book, although there might have been a little too much plot twists for my taste. Coming closer to the end, I found the events getting quite predictable and repetitive. This doesn't take away there's something inside of me that doesn't want to say goodbye to the world of Jacinda.

I loved the ending of this series! Kept me on my toes the entire time it took for me to read it (about 5 hours).
