In Manhattan Becky can have a huge wedding in a place that's impossible to book and have anything in the wedding — the more extravagant the better. In England, the wedding will be at home with her closest of friends and her parents' garden decked out especially for the day. http://pussreboots.com/blog/2017/comm...

This one is slightly better than the others in the series so far. It has a big drama situation that kept me more riveted.

I had forgotten just how dramatic this book gets. But everything ends the way it's supposed to.

i love living vicariously through becky bloomwood

**short review: Becky Bloomwood is soooo lovable with all her stupidity and foolishness. It's amazing how everything turns out for her. The book have successfully entertained me and I really can't stop reading. I think I'll never get enough of Becky Bloomwood! Looking forward to the next book of Becky & Luke's honeymoon around the world. :) I'm sure it will be another adventurous ride for both of them. :) Tho thumbs up for Sophie Kinsella! Officially one of my favorite authors now.

2.25 stars I really didn't like the middle part of this book und Rebecca's indecisiveness was and is still driving e absolutely insane. Which would mean a rating under 2 stars. The end however was quite sweet and I weirdly do want to continue the series. Therefor the given rating.

Oh how I love this series!!! Listen, the premise is that Becky is a shopaholic that can’t control herself and gets into a mess. But by the end of the first book she somehow sorts her debts and gets better. So you would wonder what the next books will be about if not her shopping craze. But I have to say Sophie Kinsella was able to keep the story so interesting and have Becky go through such fun adventures. It’s so nice to see her preparing the wedding (even though I still have reservations with Luke, he is nice sometimes but other times he can be horrible) and shop a lot for it. The New York setting is lovely (even though I think I prefer London) and I was happy to see that some heavier themes like Luke’s relationship with his mother were dealt with. I enjoy these books so much because they are super fun and entertaining, but I think I love them because I am so similar to Becky. For example, when she is shopping for wedding dresses: [Shopping Assistant] “So we’re after something either simple or elaborate, with sleeves or strapless, possibly with beading and/or embroidery and either with a train or without.” [Becky] “Exactly! But you know, I’m quite flexible.” If this isn’t me like all the time! I would be exactly like that when buying a wedding dress because I have acted exactly the same on multiple occasions. The wedding decision was definitely long and at times I wanted to shake her so that she would make a decision, but I completely understood what she was feeling and, once again, I would probably act very similarly if that all happened to me. I am really glad of how it all tied up, and found it so hilarious how she managed to (view spoiler)[get fake-married at the Plaza without no one noticing, and then fly to England and get real-married at home. (hide spoiler)] I definitely got very emotional at the end and I can’t wait to continue this series.

Quick read, fantastic. I love this genre!

Just one word - PERFECT!! Luke’s proposal was soo romantic and OH MY GODD so unexpected at that time!!! The book is just fun to read. Nothing deep.
