4.8 MMF Bi- Romance Kink Con/Non-Con Miscommunication Dark Knife play * Please check all trigger warnings before reading* Sadie goes looking for an autograph from her favorite author who she finds out is staying in a secluded cabin in town. He finds her on his property and accuses her of trying steal his work before it even gets a chance to get published. He comes up with this random contract stating she can’t leave the premises until he’s finished with the book and she agrees and ends up staying only to find a surprise extra roommate named Zero who ends up mentoring her newfound writing journey. I really enjoyed the authors writing and had a really good pace.It had some surprisingly funny banter in there as well. There were moments that definitely kept me on edge and wondering if certain parts or all was part of the role play or if it was blurring into darker lines. It definitely kept me on edge enough to keep reading.

Welp. That was definitely the darkest book I've read all year. Don't get me wrong, I fully anticipated as much based on the descriptions of people who convinced me to read it and yet... it still took me by surprise lmao.

I wanted to venture out of my reading comfort zone and into something a little darker in the spirit of October and I sure as hell accomplished that! Will I read another book like this? Sure, but not any time soon.

I realized I am much too soft for these types of relationships and I need the romance and all the cuteness. Kudos to Sadie for being a tough ass bitch tho. Ya girl could never.

Regardless, I thought it was written well and thought the storyline was interesting. Very quick read, too!
