This second book definitely has more going on compared to the first one, and I'm enjoying it. It's fascinating to see the world expanded a bit more, like how Lindon is seeing the curious world through his eyes, full of bigger things than what he's grown up with. 

It's also quite interesting that Yerin, who was described as someone very powerful compared to all the people from where Lindon came from, was not someone rare in the outside world, though she's really a great talent to behold. 

The introduction of new characters, especially Eithan, was the best part of this book in my opinion. Eithan is such a fun character to follow. He's very laidback and carefree. I loved his nonchalant approach to everything, even in a life and death situation. I didn't even doubt his strength even with only the subtle hints of his real status are shown. His mysterious aura only fits his powerful identity. 

With how the situation ended in this book, how Lindon managed to earn himself a very powerful foe, it gave me something more to look forward to. Both Lindon and Yerin also being 'adopted' by Eithan is something I'm also so excited to see.
