this was so good! very action packed and, although we don’t get as many cute moments, this one was still so special! i love seeing an in-depth timeline of how they got their new dog and very excited to see what happens from this volume forward!

I swear this series only gets more fun and more adorable as time goes on. SPYxFAMILY Volume 4 continues to be my current fave manga series. I was so delighted to be able to pick up this series and keep going. You don't even know how excited I was! So, this time around: 1. Adorable family dynamics that will just make your heart SWELL. 2. Anya with the most expressive face of any child ever (seriously, you should see the look on her face when she sees all the dogs she doesn't like). 3. Cliffhangers... If you binge it like I did you will have no problem! 4. Some of the most amusing and fun visuals yet. 5. Insane spy sequences that reminds you this is quite the thriller of a manga! 6. The cover. That's it: A dog with a bowtie. That's all that needs to be said. Seriously, have you looked at it? Get me that cover in a frame and on my wall: it's adorable. 7. Spy references GALORE. Overall, this is yet another fabulous addition to SPYxFAMILY and I need the next volume PRONTO! Five out of five stars. Anya gets a reward for earning her first Stella Star at the academy, which furthers the big mission. What does she want? Of course, a dog! Father Forger suggests a little one. But fate has other plans. The spy family gets a top canine agent. Hijinks and adorableness ensue. Anya struggles to find a name. But this dog will definitely help the cause of world peace as well as complete this family. What name fits this big, white, cuddly bear of a dog? You would have to read this volume to find out. LOL. Read it when you need a smile.

so freaking cute. funniest chapters so far, too.

I just love how even though literally every member of this family is crazy badass and definitely not normal in their own way (and not even real family members), they still manage to have incredibly domestic moments, like getting a dog. Even if they end up foiling an assassination attempt and protecting each other without ever realizing that they're all protecting each other from their own actions.
