St. Valentine, St. Abigail, St. Brigid is a story following the daughter of a witch that is willing to pay whatever price needed to save her crush and classmate from a dark curse. This story is enticing with the added magical realism in the story as a fantastical element that stands on its own, separate from the witchcraft moments. I find that fascinating because the traditional magic is mixed with magical realism to add an edge to the story and necessary plot tool that isn't exclusive to the magic users but also other characters. The romance in this isn't that deep and it can be interpreted in any way you can considering the ending. 
Definitely a stand out short amongst the others that I've read this month, highly recommend for lovers of young adult queer witchy fantasy.
