Claimed A Club Sin Novel
Reviews

Rating: 3 Stars - Liked It Thoughts: What an interesting world Elle Kennedy has created. Have Global Council that run a strict controlled environment where Hudson the heroine is running from. Then have the outlaws who live in the moment. What a bunch of highly sexual characters. Sexual encounters (M/F/M and Voyeur) is part of their life and not embarrassed. Love their out look on life in a Dystopia world. As for the Erotic in Claimed loved it. Well written sexy times with a delicious dirty talking hero. The sexual tension was amazing. Connor was an interesting character as Hudson was trying to figure him out I was right there with her. I was just as frustrated like Hudson wondering why he will not give her what she wants sexually. He is a grouch, jerk and straight to the point and I loved it. Once I found out about his past everything made sense. This is the second novel I have read by Elle Kennedy and once again loving her heroine. Wow was she a sexually aroused sweet heart. Loved that now she is free from her world of being controlled she is not shy and wants to experience Connors world. Seeing her form a friendship with the secondary characters was wonderful. Really feel her fitting in with Connor's small tight group of not by blood family. I loved that I already have my favorite secondary characters and want to know more about. Pike with his she devil wolf could not get enough of. What is up with his grouchy ass. Rylan the charmer I want and need to know more about him and The Reigning Queen of Foxworth. I knew going in this was an erotic novel. As much as I loved all the characters in Claimed I needed a good balance between the erotic moments and the overall story. Beginning and ending was amazing but the middle did feel like a sex fest filler. Maybe I am just greedy and wanted more time spent with all the characters. I do want to find out what is happening with the other characters.

Link to Blog: http://laceysloveofliterature.blogspo... Anybody who knows me, knows how much I love Elle Kennedy; she is hands-down one of my fave ever authors. I've basically read every book of hers. Just the other month I went on a Killer Instinct's streak, reading them all within a week or so. Therefore it's no surprise how much I love her new series: Outlaws. Outlaws a futuristic dystopian novel, set a few decades in the future. Due to over-population and wars, the world has been split into colonies. The few remaining people left live in the colonies as either citizens or Enforcers: those who enforce the new council's rules and protects the citizens. However, beyond the wall's of the colonies people who wished to be free and not a part of the colonies live: they're called Outlaws. Claimed, the first novel in the series, tells the story of Hudson and Connor. Hudson has just recently escaped her colony due to new tyrannical and violent rule. She no longer recognises her own twin brother, the Head Enforcer. So she takes off. Connor has spent his whole life as an Outlaw. The reluctant leader of a small group of Outlaws in the mountains, he does everything he can to keep his few people safe; due to his feeling of past failures. These two meet in a bandit robbery of booze in a underground pub/morgue. Knowing that Connor and his group can keep her safe, Hudson pleas to Connor to take her with them. But she's keeping a big secret - that Dominik is her twin brother, knowing that if they knew they wouldn't take her in. I loved these two together. I loved how Hudson stood up for herself and didn't back down from Connor, but I also loved how she was able to coax his soft side out as well. I loved how Connor helped Hudson embrace her sexuality and freedom. These two together were amazing. I loved all the extra characters as well. I adored Rylan, this smooth-talking charmer was simply delicious. I loved Pike. Xander. Kade. I loved them all. And I'm heading off to start the second book in this series, Addicted, about Lennox and Jamie.

2.5 stars Turns out this isn't my kind of book. I'm glad I read it so at least I know. This isn't my genre or my book and I'm okay with that. There was just too much sex and not enough story. What story there was I liked it but much like I complain when romance takes over a really important story in books, the sex took over a vaguely interesting story in this one.

Wow. That was super erotic.

Find this review and more at kimberlyfaye reads . Guys. This book. It's not something that's for EVERYONE. I realize that. But I loved it. It was edgy and dirty and totally consumed me until I finished it. I had to stop and do real life things about halfway through and I wanted to throw a temper tantrum because I was so anxious to get back to it. I cannot WAIT for the next book. I read a lot of romance and it honestly takes a lot for me to be rendered speechless. Claimed? Totally did it. I sent I don't even know how many OMG freak out texts to my friend while I was reading it. This book is so much more than just sexy as hell romance, but I'd be lying if I didn't admit that's a bit part of why I loved it as much as I did. This is the first adult dystopian that I've read, so I wasn't expecting for sex to play such a huge part it in because, well, it doesn't in the YA books I've read. (I mean, duh.) But, in this world where sex is both a form of trade and one of the last true indulgences, it was important. Things that are considered taboo in our world definitely weren't in the one that Elle built in this book. I loved the characters and found myself squarely in their corners and desperately wanting to know more about them. Connor. Gah. That man, with his possessive, controlling tendencies and his dirty mouth and complicated past? Good god. I loved him. Hudson was a great female lead. I admired her strength in trying to escape her former life and the expectations that came with it. The other men in Connor's group were fantastic, too. I can't wait to get more of each of their stories. This book was utterly captivating. I loved the action and the setup for the romance. I loved the dirty hot times and the way the story progressed both with regards to the romantic and non-romantic plots. If this sounds like it might be your type of book, don't wait. Pick it up now. You won't be sorry. Did I mention I loved this and can't wait to get my hot little hands on the next book? Because, yeah. Damn. I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

This was wicked HOT! I'm not too sure how I feel about the story/plot, but the steaminess is off the charts. 3.5 stars!
