But small towns have a way of spreading gossip like wildfire, and not everyone is happy about their relationship. Especially when Megan drops a bombshell on Nash after one heated night between them. As much as Megan and Nash want to forget the old feud between their fathers and lose each other in explosive passion, they can’t escape reality. They are meant to be enemies, and Nash’s sizzling, dominant touch might not be enough to keep them together.

You’re all I’ve got.” ― “So many years have gone by that we’ve ignored what we wanted. Now that we’ve opened that door, I can’t help but see all the time we’ve wasted when we could have been happy.” Overall Opinion: The Blackshaw and Harrison clan have a old family rivalry that hasn’t settled even moving onto Nash and Megan adulthood. Despite the tension, there has always been a connection between the two, and from early on, the chase began. The chemistry between the two characters are off the charts and when one intimate night changes their lives forever, they join together to help their families push aside their differences to become one. But that itself has become a challenge when Megan’s father and Nash have difficulty putting aside their past differences especially when things starts becoming wary on the Blackshaw land. After the overall read, surprisingly, I was blown away by this novel. I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with cowboy romance novels but right off the bat the chemistry between the characters was mucho caliente, the likability of the leads was there, the pace was steady and the overall content was enjoyable. Would definitely recommend to readers who are looking for a heartwarming cowboy romance that will surely leave you swooning for more.
