I absolutely adored Blood Lands and adored this one but to be honest its not my favorite just because I really didn't want them back in the prison AGAIN like I already when through the stress and angst in book one. Now I didn't hate it, but I do wish it had been done a bit differently to be honest. In this installment, it was definitely more intense though. And I read through it so quickly and that ENDING, I swear this author is going to kill me with these cliffhangers haha but we have the final book coming up and I know that book has a HEA so I am very excited for that.

** spoiler alert ** I definitely saw that Tracker was not on their side. He seemed shady from the moment he got back. The constantly getting caught and thrown back in the prison got a bit tired for me. A new plot line would have been nice but still love the characters and the development of the story. On to the next one. Hopefully there aren't as many losses. Not really anybody left to kill at this point...

I have been enchanted by these books since the beginning. The connection and development between Warwick and Brexley was fascinating to read about. But OMG WHY DID THEY KEEP ENDING UP IN THE SAME DANG PRISON. It was the same plot twists and the same stuff over and over. I loved the story but dear lord I was getting tired of all the character deaths and prison issues that Brexley herself causes. No matter how annoying the plot was at times, I don’t regret reading it, even if it did have a crappy ending.

This has been my fav book in the series so far - it has some of my fav scenes between Warwick and Brexley in it but this is one of the darker books. We finally get a of lot key info which was also much appreciated. The ending gets nuts and a bit sad, but I really can’t wait for the final book to come out later this year!
