           A beautifully written book with an unexpected plot, and lots of heartache. Feel like I could sit with its ideas for a while and see aspects of the story differently. Mostly, just very beautiful writing.

This book was an experience. It was funny, it was harrowing, it was heart wrenching, it was beautiful, it was dreamlike, it was shocking all at the same time. The atmosphere this novella built was so thick and palpable, just a beautifully written story. The audiobook narrator was fantastic as well. Please check the trigger warnings before going into this one though.
