Surprisingly not bad… There were moments when I was bored but I also felt compelled to continue reading. Although Arden was a Mary Sue, she wasn’t one of those ineffably annoying ones. I think the men could use a little more personality, but I enjoyed the background that they all had as well. I’m curious enough that I might continue reading, but I’m not too sure about the present tense writing tbh. I think that’s why I struggled in the beginning!
