Caraval 3 - Finale

Have been struggling to read this year, but this series helped me the storyline is basic but intriguing, just wished Dontella’s ending was better & Legend wasn’t favorite

I enjoyed the finale a lot more than I thought I did. The ending might be predictable, but it was an enjoyable reading experience. After reading all 3 books, I've come to appreciate Scarlet's character. She started off as this super anxious, uptight and naive girl, but as the series grows, so does she. There are still moments where I was like "Scarlet, honey, why?", especially the part where she created the game for Julian and Nicholas. Like why? But this book gives Scarlet more depth. And I like that it was revealed she's the daughter of the Fallen Star. That came as a shock to me. Her relationship with her mom is also something that I truly enjoy. It was a tender and raw moment. I also think that this book has way too many love triangles. Do we really need 2? Also, it felt weird to see Jacks pining over Tella, because I know that his one true love is Evangeline. It just feels weird. Should have read Caraval before OUABH. That line where Jacks said he's a villain even in his own story. That broke me. Because we all know how much Jacks crave love. How far he's gone to find his one true love to break his curse. To have his one true love breaking his heart... that's cold. But this just further proves that love is not something you can forced. If it's yours it's yours. Nothing in the world can break you apart (see Jacks and Evangaline in ACFTL). Legend's being flaky in this book. He longs for her but he didn't want to sacrifice his immortality for her. Like dude, make up your mind. So glad he finally did at the end because sometimes I just want to crawl into the book and just shake some common sense into him. I'm so glad Stephanie Garber is releasing a novella after this book because I don't think I'm ready to say goodbye to this world.

this one was so much better than the other two, it engaged me way more than the others!! semi-satisfying wrap up at the end

Interesting world and characters but it just felt like the characters were all just playing one big game of hide-and-seek and as far as the love interests go it was just one eternal “will he won’t he” and I’m just glad it’s over.

Dear I say this book is the best book of the whole series. Best series I have read in a long time!!

I think this was my favorite book of the series. The plot of this book was very interesting and quick for me to get through. I thought the outcome between Tella and Legend was pretty predictable, though, even from the start. Scarlett's storyline was cool, although I wish she hadn't wasted her time on Nicholas. The different fates were interesting to read about, so I'm excited to read the OUABH trilogy. Some of the plot twists in this book were really good, especially with Jacks marrying Tella.

After reading the first book I was a little bit disappointed, I red the second and thought it was better now the third book I loved, I'm glad I kept going with this series, I'm not sure if I will read the next one or leave this on a high but I 100% think the books got better as I went on.

I have now reached the end of another series and its always such a bittersweet moment after being immersed in the world and with these characters so it’s always sad when you come to the end of their story but what a story it was, and I have loved escaping to this world. But I can now say that I have another series off my TBR which is such an awesome feeling!

Through this book both sisters need to be strong and calculating to stop the fates from causing complete chaos and having control over Trisda. Both sisters make discoveries about themselves and their mother, which if the knowledge is used right, can stop the fates from gaining control.

I liked it. The first Caraval is still my favorite, but this is a close second.

This and the first book are my favourite of the series I liked how we got both Scarlett’s pov and tella’s . I loved how they teamed up w the fates and killed Scarlett’s other dad the ones that’s the main fate and whatever gale I read this book.
