DNF before I even reached Chapter 2.

If Stephen Davis is going to call himself a "music journalist," he may want to enlist the help of a fact-checker or two. It is highly disappointing to begin reading a biography of Stevie Nicks only to find that her BIRTHDAY is incorrect. 

FYI Mr. Davis, Stevie Nicks was born on the 26th of May, not the 28th. Additionally, your parenthetical note on the following page is also incorrect. She does not share the same birthday as her grandfather; he was in fact born on May 28th. 

Just for giggles, I flipped to the glossy photo pages set in the middle of the book. Lo and behold, one of the photo captions is incorrect! The fourth photo shows Stevie and her mother at the 20th Grammy Awards in 1978. However, the accompanying caption states that the photo was taken at the 1998 Grammy Awards. 

I was extremely shocked to see such glaring errors in this book, especially considering that it was published by St. Martin's Press. If you want an accurate biography of Stevie's life, please do NOT pick up this book.
