This is a book that takes a simple, common premise--a traumatic event gives a person the ability to see ghosts--and crafts it into a world of creepy goodness. I enjoyed this book very much.

** spoiler alert **
           This story started out really slow. But it really picked up about halfway in and it was really cool learning the history of Quill and the woods. Interesting storyline and interesting characters. At the end I knew that Hannah would become the next witch of the wood.
