Fall in love with the addictive, suspenseful love story between a teenage girl and a vampire with the book that sparked a "literary phenomenon" and redefined romance for a generation (New York Times).
Isabella Swan's move to Forks, a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington, could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Isabella's life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn.
Up until now, Edward has managed to keep his vampire identity a secret in the small community he lives in, but now nobody is safe, especially Isabella, the person Edward holds most dear. The lovers find themselves balanced precariously on the point of a knife -- between desire and danger.
Deeply romantic and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight captures the struggle between defying our instincts and satisfying our desires. This is a love story with bite.
It's here! #1 bestselling author Stephenie Meyer makes a triumphant return to the world of Twilight with the highly anticipated companion, Midnight Sun: the iconic love story of Bella and Edward told from the vampire's point of view.
"People do not want to just read Meyer's books; they want to climb inside them and live there." -- Time
"A literary phenomenon." -- The New York Times

Nonostante le mie ormai 50 primavere, all'adolescente represso in me piace ancora leggere romanzi "per teenagers".

Together with the Hot & Bothered - Twilight in Quarantine Podcast it's really funny to read it.

the first book in this never before told love story

I'd never gave much thought to how I would die but dying at the hands of someone you love seems like a good way to go

just because it's one of my comfort reads doesn't mean it's a good book lol

WORST book I have ever read. Glorified fanfiction that a 13-year-old could have written better. Horrible, horrible stretched out plot, flat characters, complete Mary Sue protagonist. Just.. sucks. Sorry.

In the first book of the Twlilight Saga, internationally bestselling author Stephenie Meyer introduces Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, a pair of star-crossed lovers whose forbidden relationship ripens against the backdrop of small-town suspicion and a mysterious coven of vampires. This is a love story with bite.

Twilight: Stephenie Meyer (English Edition)

a fun read but goddamn a 100 whatever year old being with a 17 year old who wants to die for him seems so wrong lol

When seventeen-year-old Bella leaves Phoenix to live with her father in Forks, Washington, she meets an exquisitely handsome boy at school for whom she feels an overwhelming attraction and who she comes to realize is not wholly human.

It will eternally be a favorite book for me. I love everything about it and the way it makes me feel.

Good. Some points were slow but other than that it was very good

Having enjoyed the movie, I decided to dive into the entire Twilight Saga - and I’m so glad I did. The book is far better than the movie, offering a deeper, more intense look at the characters and their emotions. The writing pulls you into Bella and Edward’s world in a way the screen simply couldn’t capture. It’s addictive, mysterious, and undeniably captivating.

Didn’t love the first 2/3 but the ending got interesting. I feel like Twilight is kind of a YA classic but I was too young to read them when they came out so I’m giving them a shot!

I enjoyed this book as I'd recently re-watched the film, and I like to have the visualisation when reading a book that's been made into a film. As usual there is far more detail in the book, which I enjoyed, the book itself is not particularly well written in my opinion, but still readable if you enjoyed the films. I will read the remaining books in due course - I don't think I could cope with them one after the other!
