Having enjoyed the movie, I decided to dive into the entire Twilight Saga - and I’m so glad I did. The book is far better than the movie, offering a deeper, more intense look at the characters and their emotions. The writing pulls you into Bella and Edward’s world in a way the screen simply couldn’t capture. It’s addictive, mysterious, and undeniably captivating.

jsem neskutečně překvapená tím, jak moc se mi to actually líbilo. bála jsem se, že u toho budu trpět, nebudu chtít vůbec číst a strávím u toho minimálně tři měsíce, ale světě div se, je to první kniha tohoto roku, kterou jsem přečetla ani ne za sedm dní. bavila mě. velká písmena, čtivost, akce... tohle všechno byly veliký výhody za který jsem moc ráda. ani mi to nepřišlo tak strašně trapný jako ten film. musím vážně uznat, že Stmívání je jedna z nejlépe napsaných YA romantik co jsem zatím četla. i když měla Bella občas přeslazený řeči ohledně Edwarda, jako např. jeho andělský hlas a tvář, dokonalá pleť atd., pořád jsem to nějakým záhadným způsobem zvládala číst lépe než jiné zamilované příběhy.

I enjoyed this book as I'd recently re-watched the film, and I like to have the visualisation when reading a book that's been made into a film. As usual there is far more detail in the book, which I enjoyed, the book itself is not particularly well written in my opinion, but still readable if you enjoyed the films. I will read the remaining books in due course - I don't think I could cope with them one after the other!

The five star is literally for pure nostalgia and idc what anyone says  (this is a reread)
