I got this for free because I liked the font on the cover. I didn't know it was a YA verse novel, but after I knew I still read it because it was really short. Anyway, the characters were flat and the story was just uninteresting puppy love. The only trace of a twist is that the protagonist's mother is dead and is a ghost he talks to. So if you're into that, great. But I think it's just bad.
