I received a finished copy from Penguin Teen in exchange for an honest review. This has not impacted my review and all thoughts and feelings are my own. 

The conclusion to the Seafire trilogy - I'm so sad it's over. I remember getting an ARC of Seafire from Penguin Teen at BookCon 2018 and absolutely loving it! I recently read Steel Tide, book #2, and just finished Stormbreak. I have been waiting for this conclusion for 3 years now and it was better than I could have hoped. 

After the events of Steel Tide and that ENDING, I was scared that this book wouldn't live up to that hype. But I feel like every book that came out somehow was just as good if not better than the one before. It made reading this series so enjoyable. But, it also makes me sad that Caledonia and Pisces and the whole gang's journey is done! I sat for a few minutes after finishing, just letting myself soak in what happened. I'm sad now. 

Honestly, this series isn't perfect. There are probably so many things I could name that I didn't like or thought could be different, but I also feel like it's so unnecessary because I genuinely enjoyed this series and would wholeheartedly reread these books! I loved watching Caledonia go from a revenge seeking, badass pirate, to a strong, merciful leader. While she remains a badass throughout the series, her motivations completely change and it's one of my favorite parts. 

Plus, there's so much diversity in these books, it makes me so happy. We have so much LGBTQ+ representation packed into these books, as well as cultural and racial diversity. 

I could go on about the things I loved, but I'll just leave it at this: this series takes you on an incredible journey filled with grief, mercy, and the hope that a revolution can bring. Please read this series!

What an epic ending to such an epic trilogy. I fell in love with this series 2 years ago, and it felt amazing to see our beloved characters once again on their final journey. This series as a whole has amazing writing, vivid world-building, and characters that are so easy to fall in love with. Throughout this whole trilogy, Caledonia has always been such a strong, independent character, and still to this day, she remains my favorite. There are so many character to easily fall in love with it is so hard to choose a favorite. The ending was bittersweet, but it felt right! It was just hard to know that this was the last book!

I highly recommend picking this series up! I mean it has kick-butt lady pirates, and a world where it is so easy to lose yourself in! Who wouldn’t fall in love with this book?! It is so easy to feel so immersed in this world that Parker has created, and I remember I finished “Steel Tide” in a day because I couldn’t put it down! Mark your calendars for February 9, 2021 because you don’t want to miss the epic conclusion to Caledonia’s story!
