My first thoughts when reading Lincoln and Cassidy’s story was that they heavily reminded me of Maliki and Sierra, in the best of ways. Their love story was unique and I loved the outside aspects helping them grow together. It definitely did not go in the direction I expected it to, but I loved it. Cassidy has Sierra’s spunky personality, telling her mind and teasing her crush. It was nice to get to see more about Lincoln after hearing about him from everyone else’s perspectives.

Somehow, each new Twisted Fox book becomes my new favorite! These are all standalones, but I think you get more out of them when you read them in order. I adored Lincoln and Cassidy. I liked that they started as friends, and developed their relationship from there. Not that Cassidy wasn't flirting from the second she met Lincoln though! I loved her spark and her boldness. And I loved how open they were with each other. They've both been through a lot, so it took them a bit to open up to each other, but that honesty and vulnerability was there from the start. They understood each other on such a deep level. Their flirty banter was definitely leading to more, even though that scared them (especially Lincoln). And someone from Cassidy's past showing up and threatening her spells trouble. 
Lincoln is loyal to a fault, even if that gets him in trouble. But I loved that he did whatever he needed to do to protect Cassidy, even if it meant betraying her trust. 
This one is more fun than angsty, like the last one, but there's some suspense and tension that keep you hooked. I definitely read past my bedtime and finished this in one night. 
The Twisted Fox books are quickly becoming one of my favorite romance series, and Charity Ferrell is becoming one of my favorite authors!!
