What a beautiful story. 
The story plot is super interesting and so, so emotional. It's not the average happy go lucky plot but there is so much hurt and secrets it keeps the story interesting. 
The characters are also super interesting. I really liked the relationship between Zia-Lucia and Piero and how they manage to stay together even after all the obstacles they face. I also really like that their relationship doesn't start immediately romantic. It grows steadily. 
The narrator of this audiobook is good. I like their voice a lot and I think they bring Zia alive particularly well.

This book gave my slight "Under The Tuscan Sun" vibes, which is one of my all time favorite movies! It's a story that hookes you in from the very first page, and you don't want to put it down. I read it cover-to-cover in one sitting and ended up loving it so much! You'll have SO. MANY. QUESTIONS in the beginning, but they're all answered, which is so satisfying! I definitely felt like I was on holiday together with Zia, and it made me desperately want to visit Umbria. This book is a story of self-discovery, and so well written! Highly recommend!
