Cannot thank Ma enough for recommending this book. I am absolutely in awe of the author who has so skilfully woven a story that paints the 1800s ( the period known as the Bengal Renaissance) in the most mesmerising way possible. Each and every character from this book ( both the real and fictional ones) will live with me for a long long time. I have heard that the English translation of this book 'Those Days' is also brilliant. Anyone who loves to read about Indian history will undoubtedly relish this book.
