Super Thinking The Big Book of Mental Models
Reviews

Good book. Low ROI for me as I've already read so much about mental models. If you don't know a ton of them, I'd highly recommend this book as an entry point.

In my Pursuit of finding out better Models for thinking I Found this book and it's a pretty good one

This book is amazing. So amazing that I hated myself after finishing writing the above. Why? Well, it was really hard to decide what to include in my summary and what to leave out. There are more than 300 mental models mentioned inside Super Thinking: The Big Book of Mental Models. While some are just briefly cited, most of the thinking concepts are carefully outlined with enough examples so even a first-grader can get the ideas. You should definitely read this book. No matter your background or your current occupation. The concepts inside will expand your world view and give you enough mental tools to become a black belt decision-maker. Key takeaway: Practice. Reading about how to make better decisions is fun but it can also be deceitful. Reading alone won’t lead to anything extraordinary. Once you get the concepts, start applying them. Would have been just as good (if not better) as a glossary of mental models.
