Firebird

Nobody knows about Firebird and her family. They live completely isolated lives on the edge of the city, tucked away in the wilderness. They never leave it, not even to go to school, and they never ever talk to strangers. The day Firebird starts breaking the rules, everything changes. Now she doesn't know what's true and what's not any more. What she does know is that letting out the family secrets will bring death and destruction on all their heads. But maybe, just maybe, it could open the door to freedom.
