Extremely boring. Literally nothing happened the entire novel. It reminded me a lot of The Catcher in the Rye which I know is a classic, but personally, I also found extremely boring and confusing. Alice doesn't seem to realize that she actually has a social disorder and is extremely awkward and I didn't find her "adventures" that funny. Some people may enjoy the story that Alice tells. I first read this book a few years ago and I remember enjoying it then, but now that I have read it again...it was bad. I don't know where some of the glowing reviews it has gotten have come from.
