Bailey was introduced in the previous book and I couldn't wait to see more of this feisty lady! She is on the run from her former life as girlfriend of the Inca Boyz leader. She was more like his sex slave and when she realised that he had eyes on making her young brother a gang member, she took Joel and fled.

Nathan has been looking for Bailey for months. He has been intrigued by this former gangsters girl and when he inadvertently meets her, when she helps him repair his crappy car, he is further sucked into the injured soul that is Bailey. He knows he isn't the strongest of his brothers or the toughest but he is the smartest and he can see that Bailey has suffered at the gangs hands. She is rightly frightened of them finding her and Joel and will do everything he can to save them.

Nathan single handedly makes Nerds cool! He is sweet but when he finally relaxes around Bailey his little Alpha core blooms! He is the strong, sensitive, father figure that Joel needs to back him up and the tender but determined lover that Bailey needs. His response to "that" tattoo is awesome and I love that he gets his points across to Joel without shouting, swearing or raising his fists.

Bailey is not as alone as she thinks, the boys at the garage are like surrogate brothers, if she would just let them in more. Nathan and Bailey may not fall into bed as fast as some lead couples but that blends well with both of their histories and perceived failings. Nathan may be a self confessed dork but he is a fast learner and Bailey is a willing teacher!

I loved the ending it was just so Bailey/Nathan!
