Cute, quick, and fun read that includes astrology, soulmates, a love triangle, green living, and Death Cab for Cutie. Definitely an entertaining way to spend an afternoon.

Maybe I would have liked this book better if I had been able to sympathize with the main character, Lani, about her dilemma. Her best friend and the cause of all her angst was a character that rubbed me the wrong way from the beginning. Erin is a mean girl and her behavior at the end of the book was unforgivable. I just didn't have the patience for all the internal conflict Lani was having over a self absorbed former friend who didn't deserve Lani's friendship in the first place. This is a very popular book with my middle school girls but is not one of my favorite reads.

Ugh. Just ugh. Did I mention UGH?! I mean, honestly. Why, oh why, all who care, WHY? This book ended so abruptly like those songs on the radio that seem like they're just about to get somewhere major and then END. This book was so good, the kind of book you just always want to read so you can figure out what happens. But the end was abrupt, no conclusion. I DEMAND A SEQUEL. This book sucks you in and then sikes you out. At the end of the last chapter, I was like...."WHY" i mean, there was so much build up. Don't get me wrong, this book was good. But it was so terriiiibbbllyyy good that when it ends, I couldn't quite move on. It make it worse that there was also not really a conclusion. You should read this book, but be prepared for it to rip your heart out.
