Kings of Quarantine A Dark High School Bully Romance

Cruel. Heartless. Quarantined. The ruthless boys of Everlake Prep never saw lockdown coming. But the virus isn't their number one enemy. I am. And as if being confined to a boarding school for the elite wasn't bad enough, now I'm stuck in isolation with the boys who hate me most too. Saint, Kyan and Blake. The Night Keepers. Or so they call themselves. They've embodied the Native American legend which lives in this valley, taking on the role of the monsters who lurk in the forest. And though they act like beasts, they may also be the most tempting creatures I've ever seen. With the virus escalating and my dad's name splashed through the news, my entire world is falling apart. What he did has cast a dark shadow over me. And the Night Keepers want to make me pay for his crimes. Then things went from bad to worse when I touched the sacred rock. A rock which supposedly holds a curse to bind me as the Night Keepers' slave. And as crazy as it sounds, I decided to play along. Because there are things about me they don't know. Things my dad has hidden from me for years. All I can be sure of is that I have to find a way to escape this school. But until then, those savage boys are making my life a living hell. As the virus sweeps through the country and the world twists into something ugly and unknown, the kings of this school become true monarchs. Even the teachers bow to them now. And I'm kinda glad about that 'stay six feet away from one another' rule, because without it, I know they'd rip me apart. At least there's a silver lining. I'm cosying up to Coach Monroe. My hot as hell, brooding P.E. teacher who has a vendetta of his own against the Night Keepers. And with his help, I may succeed at doing more than escaping the clutches of these heartless fiends. I might even destroy them along the way. My father taught me how to be strong. How to prepare for the end of the world. So this isn't going to be the end of my world, mark my words. But if I'm able to use my mind and body to bring these assholes to their knees, it might just be the end of theirs. This is a high school bully reverse harem series which means the main character will end up with multiple love interests. It may have triggers for some as it has off the charts angst, dark love-hate themes, scenes of intense bullying, sexual scenes and some violence (not aimed towards the main character) and is not for the faint of heart. Prepare to enrol at Everlake Prep. Bring your hand sanitiser, face masks and toilet paper to barter with, but don't expect to hold onto them for long. Because it's time to go into quarantine with the Night Keepers. And everything you own now belongs to them.

? Reverse haram that tries to be like Zodiac Academy in a plague ridden world but misses the mark. Protagonist is 17 years old and one of the love interests is a teacher 6 years older than her. The hazing is just abuse and torment. Much about this could have been improved upon.

What did I just read? I honestly don't even know where to start. The Night Keepers (Saint, Blake & Kyan), Monroe or Tatum? Let's start with meeting the Characters: The Night Keepers - Saint, leader of the group with OCD to beat out any case I've ever seen. Like it's not just things being a certain way. Everything is bleached and cleaned as well. Blake, Golden Boy, who wants to be in charge and always needs to win. Kyan, wounded soul, but oh so wonderful. Monroe, teacher, knight and shining armor, and possibly my favorite. This is still a toss-up with Kyan. Tatum is the girl they all love to hate, but she won't be broken, no matter how hard they try. Recently I've read a lot of Bully Romances, and I've enjoyed them, but this one just hit my top five. I soaked up these pages so quickly that my head is still spinning, and I've got a book hangover like no other. Being that this is my first book by both Peckham and Valenti, I can't wait to read more. You will not love The Night Keepers. You will probably hate them with everything in you, but if you let this story, take you where it took me, which is right into Tatum's place, then maybe you will find something to hold on to for the other books. Their story isn't finished, so do yourself a favor and don't stop. This was the hardest, but the best story. I can't stop saying enough about it. It's that great of a read. Grab it today and trust me, you won't regret it.

This book had me on the edge of my seat! I was unsure about starting it, but after hearing so many good things I decided to read. I love a good bully romance with a lot of sexual tension and action this book definitely delivered.

5/5 Amazing Dark New Adult, Reverse Harem, Enemies To Lovers, Bully Romance. Wow this writing duo amazed me with their beautiful background settings and over the top bullying. Never read a bully romance so extreme and loved it all. Three best friends Saint The OCD, Kyan The Fighter and Blake The Competitive all different personalities but only thing in common seriously not right in the head. They all have their demons and want more on their upbringing. It took me awhile to realize they are all psycho. Tatum has her hands full dealing with them. Loved her strong character. Loved the heavy angst and fun banter not only with Tatum and the guys but the guys with each other. Coach Monroe is an interesting character with awesome layers to the story. The plot is different and unpredictable.

Kings of Quarantine WOW WOW WOW. I did not think I was going to like this book, given the world situation, but WOW. I'm hooked!!!! This book is more about world-building and getting to know our main characters. Let's start with Tatum: Tatum is this strong young woman who is put through hell after news of her father breaks out on campus. As the new girl, all she wanted was to fit in, but she found herself on the wrong side of the Night Keepers. These brutal boys are relentless and she finds an unsuspecting friend in her teacher. Mr. Monroe has his own beef with the Night Keepers, and he wants to bring them down. For some reason he feels incredibly drawn to the new girl and enjoys the way she pushes back. Saint is probably my least favourite character just because he's so OTT. He's ruthless, heartless, and has no remorse. He's insanely brutal. Blake is a charming kid who lost his mom and is going through incredible amounts of grief. He is the party hardy kid - until he gets news that changes how he feels about Tatum. It's now his life goal to destroy her. Kyan is my favourite. He's got a sense of humour hidden behind his bad boy self and all he wants is to feel love. He enjoys fighting as a past time and once he gets wind that Tatum is trained in martial arts, his attraction to her gets stronger. By the end of this book they are bound together through events that I will not spoil, and I cannot wait to get into book #2.

The story is pretty good but I’m more excited about these authors. Love the writing style so much, about to go read everything they’ve written. The basic formula of this book is extremely common but I wasn’t bored at all.

I've decided to give this book a chance because I've heard so many good things about it. I have to say that I was not disappointed. This is the first book of Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti that I have read and I really liked their style of writing. I was able to imagine everything so vividly. The characters are well written, but can be a bit cheesy at times which I thought was going to annoy me but it didn't. This is an RH book filled with violence, a bit of mystery, bullying and romance, so if that is something that you like to read about then you should definitely give this book a chance.
