Unwanted by Susie Tate is a romance novel that took me about a chapter to get into. While I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it gets a solid three stars because, while it was an engaging read, there were some aspects that left me wanting more.

The story revolves around characters, each with their own unique quirks and backgrounds. The protagonists are easy to root for, and their chemistry is palpable. The author is able to portray their emotional struggles, which added depth to the story.

I was able to gel with Tate's writing style, making the book easy to read and lost myself in it. The pacing is generally good, and the dialogue is emotional, adding a layer of authenticity to the characters' interactions.

The reason for my four-star rating is that I wanted Harry to be more billionaire and maybe arrogant and stuck-up and not that nerdy and extremely insecure boy who got his heart crushed 20 years ago. From all the social media build-up I thought Verity was going to be more badass and self empowering rather than the scared and unwanted little girl. It just seemed to me that the characters didn't develop in the 20 years they had apart. 

In conclusion, Unwanted is an enjoyable romance novel. While I would have appreciated a slightly more unexpected plot, it is a great choice for anyone looking for a heartfelt and engaging love story.
