Not much of a plot with mostly unlikeable characters. We never really knew what the players were up to, motivation-wise or with their implied spying and enemy abetting. A tedious read that served as a soporific on many nights. The only character I really rooted for was Skip. I would read another book about him if someone else were to write it.
