A light-hearted yet fast-paced novel about two women on the run with their kids. I loved the empowerment that both of these women found, I loved the friendships and found family, loved the idea that it's okay to ask for help and to accept it even when you don't ask. I also thought that there were great discussions on the way our judicial system and the media work for/against some people. Skipper was a standout character for me (I loved him so much). The situations they got into were full of action and quick thinking. A cute, feel-good friendship and family story. The only reason it's not getting 5 stars is because it lacked that *extra* spark for me, and I wish that Mark had been more developed. Overall, great!
