Echoes of Fire
Reviews

This review was originally posted on Addicted To Romance Echoes of Fire is the most recent addition to the Mercury Pack series, this pack features Nick and Shaya's pack who are aligned with the Phoenix Pack---which were the first books in this world that Suzanne Wright has written. I have been addicted to these books and the spice filled characters that are packed within these books. In Echoes of Fire, Madisyn Drake, works with the loner shifter shelter and is a loner herself. Madisyn is a rare form of feline that many shifters are wary of because they are unpredictable and feisty. She might be in trouble though, because she helped a bear shifter female escape her evil alpha of a bear pack and they want to know her location or she is going to pay the price including those that really care about her. Bracken Slater is a member of the Mercury Pack, and is a alpha male in his own right. But Bracken is struggling emotionally and mentally and he is starting to find his pack to be suffocating him. He is grieving over the loss of his family and the trauma of being the only surivivor. His pack are being supporting and patient but too stifling for Bracken with their affection and attention. But when Bracken and Madisyn join forces and help each other, they soon discover what a strong connection that they have to each other. Madisyn doesn't suffer fools and she is very bold and daring and doesn't molly coddle Bracken like his pack does and it proves to be beneficial and helps Bracken in ways that other methods never did. Bracken still lives with the horrible memories that are haunting him but he is able to overcome the trauama with realizing that Madisyn is his rock. The romance that builds between Bracken and Madisyn is fiery hot and kick ass and bound to give the readers laughs and giggles. They were such a fun pairing with some terrible pasts of their own and they are able to really understand one another in ways that even those they consider family don't understand them. They offer the balance that the other needs so flawlessly. Overall I found Echoes of Fire to be stimulating and kick ass and a story that packs a punch in every way that matters....Suzanne Wright has won my heart once again!! SPECTACULAR READ!
