Sweet Ache
Reviews

Find this review and more at kimberlyfaye reads . I had pretty high hopes for Sweet Ache. Unfortunately, it didn't quite work for me. (I am CLEARLY in the minority, too, so take my thoughts lightly.) It was still a good read overall, but it didn't strike the chord with me that I hoped it would. I'm not sure if it's because I've only read one of the other books in the series, so I didn't have a real connection with the characters, but it left me wanting more. I liked both of the characters. Hawkin and Quinlan were both great in their own right. There was no denying there was something between them, but the flipping between hot and cold left me frustrated. I found each of their inner dialogue too long and drawn out. I had a hard time staying interested in the book at times. I did like how they opened up to each other though and the sexy scenes were fantastic. When it was all said and done, I found myself fairly invested in the story and happy with how everything wrapped up. I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
