Heart achingly beautiful. This whole book is an entire feeling. It’s raw, real, emotional and you just can’t help but root for these two. The things she goes through, no one in life should ever have to go through (check your TW)

Not only did I love the main characters, but I found myself falling for the other characters. The relationship between Dani and Ansel is by far one of my faves, that I was rooting for them at one point. But the more I read, the more I knew she belonged with Lach.

This is a must read, hands down! I cannot wait for Ansel’s story.

How do reviewers deal with wanting to put the whole freaking book into the review? I mean, I have so many highlights from this book, I basically highlighted the whole thing.

I was very lucky to be able to get an ARC from Micalea Smeltzer. I am eternally grateful for that, because this book... no words, just... no words can describe how amazing this book is.

I was very excited to get my hands on Sweet Dandelion and just could not wait for it. There were a lot of teasers posted in the social media and I could barely contain myself not to read them, but for once I wanted to just read the whole book without knowing anything more than the blurb.

Sweet Dandelion is a long, slow-burn romance. It's told from the POV of Dandelion, who was shot in a school shooting and lost her mom it in. Now, in a new city, with just her older brother, she's forced to meet the school counselor every day for the rest of the school year.

The young counselor quickly earns her thrust and their sessions soon become more on the friendly side than on the professional. And one late night after a party Dani went to, everything changes for them.

I really enjoyed this book! It was a big boy too, but it certainly didn’t feel like it.
This is a tough subject matter, but I think it was handled well, and really made you think.
I also loved Dani and sage’s relationship. I wish we had seen more of his growth and acceptance, but I did enjoy the dynamic.
I also really loved Ansel and want to see more of his story. His and Dani’s friendship was really beautiful.
I have to admit I was reluctant to read this book because of the student/teacher thing, but Lachlan and Dani’s relationship was so much more than that, I really loved how he helped her heal. I do think, however that this book could’ve greatly benefited from some bits in Lachlan’s POV, just to see what he was thinking and feeling. This was what was really missing for me.
This is a great book and I enjoyed it immensely. Definitely recommend giving it a go!

Pretty good, but very repetitive at times and the story seemed to drag on forever without actually adding anything to the plot. I love the fact that Dani found herself through travel and that she really ended up growing into herself before going back to Lachlan, that part I thought was very rewarding to read.

I don’t even know where to start with this but I adored this book so much. There were a few reasons it wasn’t a 5 star read but that would spoil everything so I shall keep quiet. BUT DANDELION AND LACHLAN OWN MY HEART. I am a sucker for stories where the characters bond over reading.

THIS BOOK, THIS BOOK IS EVERYTHING. I can’t express how much I loved this story. It literally was the one thing that made me happy this week. I’m so in love with the relationship story between the main characters but I also loved the fact we got to see the relationship between Dani and her brother they were the cutest.

This book was so good! I loved Dani. Finally a somewhat mature female character. Ansel deserves his own book. I loved that her relationship with Lachlan wasn’t the whole book. The point was her healing and figuring out who she wanted to be. And she did. I want a brother like Sage! The wedding in Scotland 😍 and the second epilogue!!! Their kids, I can’t, and she finally got her farm. I’m so proud of her character progression.

What I liked about this book was the journey and growth that Dandelion went through. I loved that even though this is still considered to be a taboo romance; the author allowed the female lead to accept and grieve her circumstances. This was not just a romance that would satisfy her short term. This was a realistic romance that took its time, and didn't rush to give a happy ending.
