This story.... ugh.... heartbreaking.
I think what made it even harder was knowing this was something very personal for Tillie to write about.

Sweet Fall is a story of love ( as are all TC books) but more so it's about about trying to come back from your darkest moments, and your past.

Austin Carillo is well known as the wide receiver for the Crimson Tide, but he's also the poor boy from the tracks running from the gang that tried to steal everything from him.
With his families' lives slipping between his fingers and his NFL career right in his grasp, Austin has a lot of choices to make... one of them being if he should hold on to the emo girl who stole his heart.

Lexi paints her face with makeup and a smile, but underneath her cheer outfit and baggy clothes she's fighting a battle against herself. 
The tattooed bad boy has caught her eye... but if he touches her... he'll judge her... he'll know her secret... he'll stop her from reaching her goals.

As a young woman in high school I struggled with how others saw me.
Being a blonde I was dumb.
Being tall and buxom I was a fat cow.
This story hit home for the girl I used to be, maybe sometimes still am.
Always striving for perfection and never feeling adequate.

If you venture into this tale, know it is a heavy one. With triggering topics such as gang violence, drugs, depression, eating disorder, and loss.

I recommend this one to anyone who loves TC's writing style and is ready to tackle a hard topic many don't tend to speak out about.

Ser breve, este libro es fuerte, muy fuerte, y no es del genero dark que me encanta ni tiene lo más mínimo de horror, es fuerte porque trata de un tema real y que muchas personas sufren muy comúnmente por desgracia, y eso es los desórdenes alimenticios. 

Lexi una chica alegre, es amiga de Molly la conocimos anteriormente, algo gótica, nadie piensa que algo está mal con ella o que tiene una preocupación en la vida, pero las tiene y muchas, ya que lleva años sufriendo de anorexia. Mientras que Austin tatuado y quien solía estar en una pandilla trata de mejorar su vida para ayudar a su mama enferma y a sus hermanos, claro hasta que tiene que regresar ya que su mama empeora cada día.

La manera en la que ambos trataban de ayudarse fue muy lindo, ver la batalla de Lexi fue triste y más cuando piensas en la cantidad de personas que viven con eso día a día. Llega un punto en el que Lexi ya no puede más, y Austin con la ayuda de sus amigos y familia intenta ayudarla. La confianza que se tenían fue maravillosa, al igual que la relación de Levi (el hermano menor de Austin) con Lexi, aún me da tristeza como sufrió Levi en este libro. 

No le voy a recomendar este libro a cualquiera por obvias razones, es triste pero vale la pena leerlo, el camino de Lexi y Austin es increíble y no hay más que decir que es un libro que a mi parecer deben leerlo. 
Pd. Austin es uno de mis protagonistas fav.

I’ll be brief, this book is strong, very strong, and it’s not of the dark genre that I love nor has the slightest horror, it is strong because it deals with a real subject that many people suffer very commonly, unfortunately, and that is eating disorders.

Lexi a happy girl, she is a friend of Molly we met her previously, a little bit gothic, so nobody thinks that something is wrong with her or that she has a concern in life, but she has them and many since she has been suffering from anorexia for years. While Austin tattooed from head to toe and who used to be in a gang tries to improve his life to help his sick mother and his brothers, of course until he has to return since his mother gets worse every day.

The way in which both tried to help each other was very nice, seeing the battle of Lexi was sad and more when you think about the number of people who live with it day by day. There comes a point where Lexi can't take it anymore, and Austin with the help of her friends and family tries to help her. The trust they had was wonderful, just like the relationship of Levi (Austin's younger brother) with Lexi, it still makes me sad as Levi suffered so much in this book.

I am not going to recommend this book to everybody for obvious reasons, it is sad but it is worth reading, the path of Lexi and Austin is incredible, there is no more to say that it is a book that in my opinion you should be read at least once. 
P.S. Austin is one of my fav stars.
