This book was absolutely amazing. it's the perfect mixture of everything. Drama, fantasy, comedy, and of course, romance. I ship Kaianna so much it's a problem. I've read it twice and it can never get old.

I think I have to say this book was my least favorite of the three. I still enjoyed it though. it was fast and easy as are all the books in this series. I will admit I wasn't a fan of the time jump that we had at the end, its not really my favorite epilogue type. all in all I liked for the most part how it all ended.

I'm just going to make this review about the series as a whole. I really did enjoy it, for the most part. Definitely a good idea, and I did like how the Neph played different roles in this world than they did in the Mortal Instruments series (which i adored) But i was glad it had a different feel to it so it didn't seem repetative. 

The characters were great and well written, and I liked how Anna wasn't just some defenseless girl always needing to be saved. 
Kaidan=HOTT. i loved the passion and intensity between those two.
Honestly though, there was just something about Ginger that made her my favorite character from the entire trilogy.

Anyways, my biggest problem with it was the ending. As the story progressed they built you up for a huge battle between light and dark, which, quite frankly ended up being a dud. (view spoiler)[ it was basically an argument in a club with little battle. The Dukes are supposed to be big, powerful badasses, but they were easily subdued and restrained by the lesser Nephs.. doesn't really seem like that's how it would honestly play out. and then the ultimate way that the "battle" is won was through Anna praying, not even necessarily the sword..... I am in no way anti christian, seeing as i am one.. but come on...  (hide spoiler)] I was just hoping for a little more action to take place, seeing as all the books built up to that one thing.
Overall though, while it was an extreme dose of cheese, i did really enjoy the series.

Way better than book two but I’m glad it’s over. I wanted so much more from this series. I’m not saying it bad, because it’s not, I’m just saying it’s kind of average and too much hype left me feeling unimpressed.

I have to admit, I wasn’t the biggest fan of this series at the beginning, but now… I’m so in love. Each book in the trilogy got progressively better and better, and I grew to care for these characters so much that I’m sad that it’s all over. I had high expectations for Sweet Reckoning, since it’s the last book of the series, and Wendy Higgins absolutely delivers. Sweet Reckoning is a heart-pounding, fast-paced, and fabulous conclusion to this trilogy.

Anna and the gang have one last final chance to rid the world of demons, and the action doesn’t disappoint. There’s never a dull moment in this book, though there are many instances of sweetness between Anna and Kaidan, which I adored. Sweet Reckoning is thrilling, romantic, and fast-paced, and I was able to read it in one sitting. Wendy Higgins’s writing is easy to follow and I was riveted from beginning to end. I loved the subtle humor that appeared every now and then in the book (Kaidan, in particular, is hilarious!). And I was so impressed with all the characters–with their growth development and their relationships.

Anna is an impressive heroine–she truly becomes someone stronger, more confident, and more at ease with her destiny. It did become a bit too preachy for my taste at times, but I was glad that Anna had so much faith–faith in herself, in God, and in her friends. She already lost one of her Nephilim friends, and she’s definitely not ready to lose another one, so she does everything in her power to do what it takes to save all the Neph.

Kaidan is so, so sweet! I truly loved him best in Sweet Reckoning. He and Anna have to protect their relationship from the Dukes, but when it’s safe to be alone, the two of them are so adorable. Kai is so protective and willing to show how much he loves Anna (swoon!). They make such a great couple–their romance is sweet yet very, very sexy–and I loved the direction Wendy Higgins chose for them. It was something I never would have thought of, but for Kaidan and Anna, it was perfect.

All of their friends have a strong role in the book as well, and it was so great to see how much everyone has changed throughout the series. New relationships arise, some become more steady, but overall, it was the perfect ending for them.

Sweet Reckoning was so much fun to read, but I have to admit that I’m sad the series is over. Still, it’s a brilliant conclusion to this series I’ve come to love, and it’s got an even better epilogue! The epilogue was so beautiful and heartwarming that I fell in love with Kai and Anna all over again. It was such a perfect way to end the series.
