I thought it was... fine? Quite crass and graphic, some of it really had me raise my eyebrows really, and Rhiannon is definitely not the nicest person in the head of whom to live for a 12h audiobook. But the narration was superb and really managed to capture the dark humour in it, as well as the absurdism of what Rhee finds an ordinary thought to be (especially the ones that she does not relate to her psychopathy).

More interesting still is how some of her thoughts are probably going to be relatable to many of the readers - from her intolerance for the things (and people) who annoy / anger her to even her unkindness to the people she does not like, I am sure almost everyone reading has had a similar thought or expressed it among close people. Obviously, the majority of us do not let those thoughts lead us into violent acts and I doubt anyone who is a well-adjusted person has such a barrage of them. But regardless, some of her thoughts echo things that I can see on my private TL almost alrmingly closely.

That being said, the book was a little too long.

           I really enjoyed the start of the book even though it was a bit slow-paced, however the last 15% with the whole baby story really missed the mark with me and I'm not sure I want to pick up the sequel. Especially after that last scene with the baby talking to her, that was cringe-worthy

This book was totally different to what I was expecting. I was expecting a really creepy thrilling murder story but this is not that. Of course this story has a very dark undertone but Rhiannon is such a funny and relatable character you can't help but like her.
